Mercedes-Benz Rusnak Arcadia hosted a splashy preview of the new entry-level CLA250 Thursday night prior to the official national Oct. 25, 2013 launch of the car aimed at young adults with a base sticker price of $29,900.
The invitation-only event was held just two days after the Arcadia Planning Commission voted unanimously to approve the $10 million expansion plans of Rusnak Mercedes-Benz to include a new two-story showroom on Santa Anita Avenue.
The dealership on Huntington Drive near Santa Anita Avenue, which represents the single largest generator of sales taxes for the City of Arcadia that go to supporting police, fire, and library services, also projected a giant video commercial for the CLA 250 on the wall of the tall storage building across the street from the dealership and next-door to Rod’s Grill. In addition to a red carpet photo area and lounge for invited guests, along with music by a deejay, food trucks and much more, attendees lined up for a test drive of the sleek new car.[flagallery gid=155]
