SBA Business Recovery Center in Monterey Park is Closing Tomorrow
Businesses and non-profit organizations including places of worship that have been denied or withdrawn can ask for reconsideration on their disaster loans. They can come to the center for assistance with loan closings, ask for status, reconsiderations, the application process, and any questions they might have. When asking for reconsideration on your disaster loan please follow the instructions in your denial letter. I have attached the 3 ways to apply in English, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Spanish, and Mandarin just in case you did not receive it. Businesses and private non-profit organizations in LA county and the contiguous counties Kern, Orange, San Bernardino & Ventura can apply if they were affected from the Monterey Park shooting and related investigation that occurred on January 21-28. For instance, a vender or supplier that worked with Monterey Park that had suffered economic loss in the time of the disaster are eligible for the economic injury disaster loan. On our disaster loans, there are 0% interest for 12 months then you receive the low fixed interest rate that you are eligible for. The interest rate for businesses is as low as 3.30 and non-profits is as low as 2.37% including places of worship. Just a quick reminder our low-interest government loans are up to $2 million to assist with economic losses, and with terms up 30 years. The Business Recovery Center will close tomorrow it will be the last day to receive one-one assistance, however they can still online with assistance from our customer service number if needed at 1800-659-2955. They have until the deadline on January 5, 2024.
