The HOT new place to chill out in town — Shave It Nation celebrated the grand opening of it’s new location with a ribbon-cutting event hosted by the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce on July 24, 2014 at the Westfield Santa Anita mall! Shave It offers deliciously refreshing blends of shaved ice between layers of ice cream.

Arcadia Chamber CEO Scott Hettrick and Vice President Vicki Knight of Century Rooter Service and Plumbing congratulated Shave it Nation owner Jason Turchin on their grand opening and welcomed them to Arcadia. Jason thanked everyone for coming and celebrating the opening of his first store with his partner who owns two others.
Among the dignitaries was Arcadia City Council Member Sho Tay, who welcomed and presented a certificate to Jason, followed by Jorge Marquez from the office of California State Senator Ed Hernandez; Olivia Lee, representing Assemblyman Ed Chau; Jonathan Yu and Gabriel Gosney on behalf of Congresswoman Judy Chu; and Chamber board member and Ambassador Sylvia Ramos of Dilbeck Real Estate, who presented a certificate on behalf of the office of L.A. County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
Also in attendance were Chamber President Denise Weaver of Weaver Associates Insurance, as well as Chamber Ambassadors Chairman Rich Jones of the San Marino Tribune, and Ambassadors Glenn Oyoung of turn3 Creative, Lifetime Ambassador Don Fandry of the Arcadia Elks, and Ambassadors and board members John Sun of Budget Blinds of San Gabriel, and Mark Ramos of Vista Paint, as well as many more Chamber members!
