Bill Pay Support
We are suspending service disconnections for nonpayment and waiving late fees for residential and business customers impacted by COVID-19. We also encourage customers who are having trouble paying their bills to contact the SCE Customer Contact Center to discuss payment extensions or arrangements. For more information, visit sce.com/billhelp.
Scheduled Power Outages
We understand that many people and families are responsibly staying home to prevent the spread of the virus, based on Gov. Newsom’s “Safer at Home” order.
To support our customers and prevent larger outages from occurring in the future, critical work is being performed to address emergency and public safety issues such as wildfire mitigation or areas where we’ve determined equipment is near failure, even as we postpone less urgent upgrades. Our teams are working to reduce the impact of critical work as much as possible.
During these difficult times, only outages necessary to reduce public safety and wildfire risk will go forward. Non-critical work is being postponed, and each outage is being evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Any decision to proceed is not taken lightly. Thank you for your support as we work to keep our communities safe.
COVID-19 LA County Response Fund
To help Californians who are facing economic hardships because of quarantines, taking care of family members or school and business closures, Edison International will make $1 million in donations to community-based organizations in its service area, starting with a donation of $150,000 to the California Community Foundation’s COVID-19 LA County Response Fund.
