The Arcadia Chamber of Commerce helped Springhill Suites by Marriott in Downtown Arcadia celebrate a multi-million dollar makeover Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, presentations by local legislative officials and the support of a couple dozen Chamber members and officials.
Director of Sales Chase Ramirez said the nearly $3 million renovation of the facility at 99 N. Second Avenue created improvements to everything from the new lobby and breakfast layout, new Meeting Room and Boardroom setup, refurnished pool and spa area, fitness center, and business center, to the guest suites, including more than a dozen now connecting. SpringHill Suites is equally adept at providing accommodations for corporate guests, leisure families, and extended-stay travelers.
Among the presenters of certificates of congratulations were Mayor Pro Tem Gary Kovacic, Arcadia Chamber Vice President Vicki Knight of Century Rooter Service & Plumbing, and representatives of Congresswoman Judy Chu; State Senator Dr. Ed Hernandez; and County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich. Arcadia City Council Member Sho Tay and his wife Sherry were also in attendance.
