In another first this year for Taste of Arcadia, the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce will offer some unique branded merchandise available for sale at the event on Sept. 23 as a way to help generate more sales at what is the biggest fundraiser of the year.
Elegant collectible wine glasses and polo shirts will be offered for sale at one of the Chamber booths in the Business Showcase at the Taste, with a split of the proceeds going to the Chamber. New Chamber member and Arcadia Ambassador Glenn Oyoung of Turn3 Creative is responsible for the concept, design and delivery of the merchandise, which is available after the event on Chamber web site here and also in the office at 388 W. Huntington Drive.
Turn3, whose clients currently include BMW, recently supplied the Chamber with wine glasses engraved with the Chamber’s logo in an attractive gift box. The first of these was presented to Congresswoman Judy Chu at this month’s Government Affairs Forum.
The souvenirs created for Monday’s event feature the distinctive and familiar Taste of Arcadia logo designed a few years ago by Damien Lawson that blends a peacock with a wine glass. Polo shirts are available in separate designs for women and men. Turn3 will also have hats available with the peacock logo.
Separately, another Chamber member, Rich Bjerrum of Rich Images, supplied the Chamber with very distinctive Taste of Arcadia hats and aprons for some of the volunteers. Rich is pictured at right wearing a sample of both.
Rich is offering a very limited over-run of both items for sale at a different Chamber booth in the Business Showcase at the Taste. A split of the proceeds from these items will also go to the Chamber. When these items are sold out, Rich will be happy to take orders that he can fulfill after the event.
The Chamber may also offer these and other Taste of Arcadia and Chamber items for sale on this web site in the near future.
