The City of Arcadia Teams Up with Westfield Santa Anita and Arcadia Chamber of Commerce to Support Local Business this Holiday Season

ARCADIA—The City of Arcadia has teamed up with Westfield Santa Anita and the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce to launch the Merry and Bright program, supporting local businesses this holiday season. From December 1st to December 12th, shoppers who spend money at three or more brick-and-mortar retailers or restaurants in Arcadia, including one at Westfield Santa Anita, will be gifted up to $75 in Gift Cards from the City to Shop and Dine in Arcadia.

“The City is proud to partner with Westfield Santa Anita and the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce to help support our business community,” said Mayor Sho Tay. “Our local retailers and restaurants have been incredibly resilient and the City is committed to supporting them.” As part of the City’s Economic Recovery Plan, Arcadia is allocating $100,000 from American Rescue Plan Act funds to support local business growth.

“It is more important than ever that we come together as a community to support our small and local businesses,” said Ian Carter, General Manager of Westfield Santa Anita. “We are thrilled to partner with the City of Arcadia to drive customers to the local shops and restaurants that are the heart of our community.”

Westfield Santa Anita is offering visitors a variety of safe and fun ways to celebrate the holidays. The festivities kick off with a colorful holiday celebration on Saturday, December 4. Guest will enjoy holiday treats, a photo booth, and sing along to an incredibly special performance by rising pop star, Sean Cavaliere – fresh from his electric debut on the Fox Networks acclaimed singing show The Four. The Immersive Nutcracker at the Westfield Santa Anita, a family-friendly multimedia experience accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, will run until the end of December. This dreamlike journey brings the magic of theater to life by allowing visitors to travel inside the fairytale and take part in the story through innovative, awe-inspiring installations and environments.
