Two days before the grand opening of Yoobi Santa Anita on Saturday, June 20, the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce welcomed them with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting today, June 18, 2015.
Update June 20, 2015: Yoobi’s grand opening and Yoobi Fun Day event today drew a huge crowd of about 1,000 customers who exhausted all the supplies of free goodies and give-aways as they enjoyed the fun games, arts and crafts and creative activities.
Dozens of Chamber board members, Ambassadors, and members attended the June 18 ribbon-cutting and bought bags of the colorful and fun office and school supplies in the exciting first retail outlet anywhere for the supplier that is opening next door to the Disney Store at Westfield Santa Anita mall.
Yoobi Senior Director of Marketing, Rachel Jonas Gilman, and store manager Camille Wallace thanked everyone and received an Arcadia Chamber member plaque from Chamber President Andrew Gregson of The Executive Factor and certificates of congratulations from the representatives of the Mayor of Arcadia, Congresswoman Judy Chu, State Senator Dr. Ed Hernandez, and state Assembly Member Ed Chau.
Yoobi’s marketing coordinator Monserrat Cruz was also on hand.
