Laura Wilcox of ACHIEVE SMART Goals will give a 20-minute talk called “How to Mentally Improve Your Business” on Nov. 19 at the monthly Arcadia Chamber of Commerce Networking Breakfast, this month hosted by Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, 924 W. Huntington Drive.
And Arcadia Gardens Retirement Hotel will be honored as an Arcadia Business Icon.
During Laura’s presentation she will teach a few mental exercises that the group can use to better their business practices, such as: 1.) How to work through the fears and past failures that are keeping you from achieving your business goals 2.) How to use certain daily mental exercises that will help you to improve your daily business practices.
Networking Breakfasts (third Thursday of each month) are sponsored by Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary and hosted by Rod Salazar of Stubbies Promotions (Vicki Knight will guest host in Rod’s absence Nov. 19, 2015).
Attendees not only enjoy a great breakfast buffet and valuable networking with dozens of others but also introduce themselves one at a time with a brief “elevator pitch.” In addition, they have a chance to win one of multiple gifts donated by members and attendees for a business card drawing (please bring a raffle prize to next Breakfast and introduce yourself and the gift), one of which is a free three-minute Business Spotlight.
Tickets to the breakfast, which runs from 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m., are $20 in advance ($25 at the door) and discounted to $15 for Chamber members who pay by the previous Friday ($20 at the door for Chamber members).
