What better way to spend a brisk November afternoon than at the Four Seasons Tea Room for the Arcadia Chamber’s Love Lunch Nov. 24, 2015, Rosa at the Tea Room the perfect host, and the lovely array of sandwiches along with individual pots of tea for the table made for a great atmosphere. At the monthly event, sponsored by The Law Offices of Hart, Mieras & Morris, Inc., guests enjoyed a wide variety of teas, such as French Creme Brulee or Earl Gray, partnered with cucumber and dill or pumpkin and cream cheese sandwiches. Everything was topped off with a freshly baked scone, jam and clotted cream and a array of dessert items artfully displayed, such as their delicious shortbread and lemon bar.
Considering the Thanksgiving holiday right around the corner, there was a good turnout, and all seemed to genuinely enjoy the food, the surroundings and the ability to network. It was easy to enjoy each others’ company in the cozy space provided at the Tea Room at 75 N. Baldwin Avenue. Rosa’s love for china and attention to detail made everyone feel right at home. She has been operating the tea room for ten years with her two sons.
The Love Lunches were created by the Chamber for members and prospective members who love lunch and love getting out of their homes or away from their offices for a chance to relax, meet some new people and network. Attendees are invited to come any time between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month at a different restaurant each time. You can order what you want, stay as long as you can and pay individually.
