Two very supportive Arcadia Chamber members and their spouses enjoyed an evening under the stars and in front of an orchestra at the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce’s VIP table at the July 13, 2013 Festival on the Green concert by the California Philharmonic at Santa Anita Park.
Newly-crowned Business Person of the Year Wayne Williams and Sidath Kumar of the Sri Lanka Consulate General’s office brought their wives to join Chamber CEO Scott Hettrick and his family celebrating the end of the honeymoon of their daughter and new son-in-law for the performance called Andrew Lloyd Webber Meets Puccini.
Singers Lori Stinson, Christopher Campbell and Cedric Berry, along with the Cal Phil Chorale, who are prepared by Chorus Maestra Marya Basarba, belted out familiar vocals from acclaimed musical masterpieces as Phantom of the Opera, La Boheme, Evita, Sunset Blvd. and Tosca. as well as Nessun Dorma from Turandot.
Both Kumar and Williams will be showcasing products at the Taste of Arcadia and Business Showcase at the Taste on Sept. 23, 2013.
