Your Arcadia Chamber of Commerce climbed a notch among the top Chambers of Commerce in Los Angeles County to #38 in the annual ranking of the top 50 Chambers by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
David Nusbaum ranks the Chambers by budget. If the ranking was by number of members, the Arcadia Chamber’s 500 members would rank among the top 25. For the second year in a row, Nusbaum highlighted the Arcadia Chamber’s listing, this time with a note about the City providing $120,000 in interior upgrades from 2013-15 to the iconic office building which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2015.
Other than Pasadena, which is ranked #19 with a budget of $525,000 on the strength of more than 1,400 members, Arcadia, which leapfrogged over the Downey Chamber this year, ranks higher than most other San Gabriel Valley chambers, including Irwindale, which dropped two points to #43 due to a $16,000 decline in budget; Covina and San Dimas which traded spots at #46 & #47, respectively, despite having identical budgets; and Monrovia, which moved up a spot to #49.
