Once again the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce and Arcadia Association of Realtors will present a Meet the Candidates Forum featuring the six candidates running for City Council in the March/April ballot-by-mail election.

Arcadia Chamber CEO Scott Hettrick and a representative from AAR will co-moderate the Forum at the Arcadia Public Library’s Cay Mortenson Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
A relatively calm and low-key election last time in 2014 still drew more than 125 Forum attendees at the Arcadia Public Library. At that time there were five candidates for three vacant seats.
This year there are six candidates running for only two open seats, and with the controversy all year over controlling the development of mansions, and one of the candidates in the mix who has been vocal about her feelings, this promises to be an interesting campaign season.
