More than 100 attendees found a feast for the eyes, mouth and ears at Embassy Suites Arcadia‘s joint business mixer last night (Tuesday, July 22, 2014).
Embassy showcased its many new catering offerings at food stations featuring everything from grilled cheese sandwiches to crab legs, as well as meat and potatoes, tacos, and delectable desserts. Three speciality drinks and plenty of traditional soft drinks and alcohol were also enjoyed by more than 60 attendees from the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce and about 40 from the Irwindale Chamber.

Two adjacent rooms to the Mixer ballroom were decorated to showcase an elegant dining set-up available for receptions and parties, with another showing how a similar area can be transformed into an ideal setting for a seminar or classroom environment.
Embassy recently replaced all the carpeting in the main ballrooms/banquet rooms, and they are beginning to replace all the wallpaper, furniture cloth, window treatments, and more in the hotel’s 194 rooms, a project which should be completed by this fall. Additional work will also be undertaken to open up the main floor restaurant off the main lobby, including leveling the floor which has multiple step-up rooms and platforms.
Dozens of raffle prizes were given out to many happy winners throughout the evening, topped off by two expensive high-quality watches as the grand prize donated by Hideaki Kuo, Chief Marketing Officer of Arcadia Chamber member Gemorie jewelers on the Promenade at Westfield Santa Anita mall. One was valued at $700. Irwindale Chamber member L.A. Racing gave away two passes for race car driving classes at the Irwindale Speedway and Event Center — they also brought one of the race cars to the event, which was parked in front of the hotel.
