Embassy Suites Arcadia and parent company Windsor Capital Group (owner of 10 hotels across the country) turned a staff team-building exercise into a benefit for local non-profit Foothill Unity Center on Monday, March 10. As host of Windsor’s annual corporate conference, Embassy coordinated the “Peanut Butter and Jelly Challenge” in which a couple dozen managers and staff competed in two five-minute rounds to see which teams could make the most sandwiches. General managers literally had their hands tied with one of their team members in the second round.
In the end, the teams created nearly 450 sandwiches in 10-minutes that were donated to Foothill Unity Center to distribute to low-income families. See two-minute video montage of the challenge below…
