We’re celebrating 35 years of service this month and reflecting on our remarkable journey since launching our initial buses on Lines 495 and 498 in December of 1988. Today, we offer 35 local and express lines spanning over 300 square miles in the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys and Los Angeles. Our eco-friendly fleet includes electric double-deck and hydrogen fuel cell buses that help keep the air clean.
To commemorate this special occasion, we’ve created limited-edition 35th anniversary TAP cards. You can purchase them for $2 at any of our Transit Stores while supplies last (limit 2 per customer). Pomona Transit Store Closing Permanently on December 29
The Pomona Transit Store will close permanently on Friday, December 29 at 5:00pm.
Customers will still be able to get our full services at our Transit Stores in West Covina and El Monte by calling 800-RIDE-INFO (1-800-743-3463).
TAP card services are available at many vendor locations, online at taptogo.net, and with the TAP LA app.
Schedule, fare, and other important information is easy to find at foothilltransit.org. For trip planning, we recommend Google Maps.

Rose Bowl Shuttle: Hassle Free Access
Go car(e) free to the New Year’s game at the Rose Bowl! Let us take care of the driving, so you can sit back, relax, and avoid the hassle of Rose Bowl traffic and parking.
Park your car at the Parsons parking lot. You can also take Line 187 to Raymond and Walnut to catch the Foothill Transit Rose Bowl shuttle. Here are more details and enjoy the games!
Winter holiday bus and store schedules
In observance of the winter holidays, all bus lines will run according to their weekend or Sunday schedules on Christmas Day, Monday, December 25th, and New Year’s Day, Monday, January 1st.
