The popular monthly Arcadia Chamber of Commerce Love Lunch moves to its most spectacular venue yet on July 22, The FrontRunner restaurant at Santa Anita Park horse race track, 285 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia.

A choice of several gourmet entrees — Grilled Turkey Ciabatta with Saratoga Chips; Cubano (roasted pork, black forest ham, swiss cheese) with Saratoga Chips; or Chicken Caesar Salad — plus ice tea will be offered for $20 per person (including tax and tip — additional menu items and alcoholic beverages available at regular prices). A special area of tables on the front row along the tall glass windows will be reserved from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. for Arcadia Chamber members and Love Lunch guests to network while enjoying the stunning view overlooking the track and San Gabriel Mountains from the fifth level of the grandstands. You may show up at any time to join the crowd and stay for as long as you want until 2 p.m.
Participate in a fun and friendly contest to see who can pick the most winners of satellite horse racing viewed on TVs at each table. Small prizes will be offered for winners. And/or place real bets at the betting windows in the restaurant.
Special Event Coordinator Elizabeth Booth will offer personal VIP tours of the track’s elegant new suites and meeting rooms after lunch, beginning about 1:15.

Organizers recommend arriving with a $20 bill for quickest and easiest payment for the lunch, though debit/credit cards will also be accepted.
Parking: It is recommended that you enter the track via Gate 5 off Huntington Drive where it splits with Colorado Place. Follow the signs to free parking and walk through the East Battery gate to the east tower on the grandstand (no access from west tower). Take the elevator to the FrontRunner restaurant on the 5th floor. You may also enter the gate off Huntington Drive at Holly Avenue or Gate 8 off Baldwin Avenue — signs will direct you to the event.
The Love Lunches were created by the Arcadia Chamber for members and prospective members who love lunch and love getting out of their homes or away from their office for a chance to relax and meet some new people and network. Attendees are invited to come anytime between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month at a different restaurant each time. Order what you want and pay individually.
