Two Men and a Truck’s corporate Operations Director, Denise Droscha, was on hand, having arrived from the Lansing, Michigan headquarters.
Arcadia Chamber CEO Scott Hettrick applauded Denise and the company for choosing San Gabriel Valley as the first regional operations center outside of Lansing. Two Men and a Truck is a global company that mostly offers franchise operations with a few corporate-owned exceptions. Such is the case for the Irwindale facility at 15507 Arrow Highway for the moment until SoCal operations expand enough to convert it to a regional support center.
On Thursday the company had dozens of drivers and movers in attendance who all posed for a ribbon-cutting photo for the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Paul Little.
Scott also introduced Irwindale Chamber President/CEO Marlene Carney.
About 20 Arcadia Chamber board members and Ambassadors were on hand, with President Andrew Gregson presenting Denise with an Arcadia Chamber member plaque. Scott also introduced a handful of government officials to present certificates of congratulations, beginning with Arcadia City Council Member Sho Tay, and including representatives of Congresswoman Judy Chu, State Senator Dr. “Ed” Hernandez, Assemblymember Ed Chau, and County Supervisor Michael Antonovich.
Two Men community representative Sean Sidders moderated the event and drew winners of several raffle prizes, including a basket filled with terrific gifts, including a special Dodgers gift package. Arcadia Chamber member Richard Zook of Forest Lawn’s Douglass & Zook also presented a health basket to a lucky winner.
Attendees and employees enjoyed a delicious taco buffet provided by Two Men.
Drivers and movers offered tours of the large facility and it’s impressive trucks, careful attention to detail, and information about the company that offers comprehensive home and business relocation and packing services. Their goal is to exceed customers’ expectations by customizing their moving services to specific needs. Two Men gives customers a day-of-move box filled with all sorts of goodies and coloring books for the kids. The company motto is to treat everyone as you would treat your grandparents.
