For the past two years Wayne Tay has provided fantastic volunteer management of all the logistics for the Arcadia Chamber’s annual Taste of Arcadia that now includes the Business Showcase at the Taste.
He has spent the past several months providing guidance again this year for the Sept. 23, 2013 program, creating detailed layout maps for all the booths, tables, and support services, as well as addressing the myriad needs of the ever-changing vendors and entertainment services, and working closely with the rental equipment and electric services providers, Dolphin Rents and Event Power.
Wayne is the branch manager, at Town & Country Event Rentals, where he oversees the three showrooms in Pasadena, Van Nuys, and Santa Barbara. Town & Country is responsible for many major events all over Southern California and has worked with local locations such as the Santa Anita Racetrack, Huntington Library, and Descanso Gardens.
On a recent planning meeting with Wayne about Taste of Arcadia, we met at the Pasadena location of Town & Country and snapped a few photos of the company’s dazzling showroom there. In all, Town & Country has 160,000 square feet of state-the-art warehouse, and a fleet more than 50 delivery trucks to service the rentals needs of any special event.
