Arcadia Chamber of Commerce members once again showed their support for community organizations with Chamber Past President Arlynn Robinson of Century 21 Ludecke and Ivan Lai of Cruise Planners joining CEO Scott Hettrick in the Chamber booth all morning at the Fire Fighters popular annual Pancake Breakfast on May 3, 2014. Allen Tsay of Waddell & Reed also came dressed in a full suit on a hot day to class up the proceedings, and Chamber student volunteer Emily Zheng as well as Betty Hettrick also helped out.
Arcadia Chamber members were prominent at the event, with new member Rita’s Italian Ice a popular booth with free refreshing cups of gelato on a hot day, the Arcadia Chinese Association represented enthusiastically by Francine Chiu, among others, and the longest line of all the booths for the games and prizes offered by Dave & Buster’s.
As always, among the thousands of attendees was a virtual Who’s Who of Arcadia, with newly-crowned Mayor John Wuo and Council Member Sho Tay stopping by the Chamber booth, along with sightings of Mayor Pro Tem Gary Kovacic, Council Member Tom Beck, and former Chamber Presidents Pete Siberell and Lee Shimmin, among others.
