New Arcadia legislative representatives Assemblymember Ed Chau (49th District) and California senator Dr. Ed Hernandez, whose 24th district was recently assigned Arcadia as part of last year’s realignment introduced themselves to a business lunch gathering of the San Gabriel Valley Public Affairs Network Feb. 8 at Arcadia Chamber of Commerce member Embassy Suites.
Newly-elected 41st Assembly District Assemblymember Chris Holden, former City Councilman of Pasadena, was the third guest speaker of the program billed as “New Faces & New Districts,” which was coordinated and emcee’d by SGV PAN past-president Luis Cetina.
Arcadia Chamber was the host Chamber at the well-attended event that included Chambers of El Monte/South El Monte, Temple City, and Alhambra, as well as Arcadia Chamber members the Gas Company, Waste Management, and Foothill Transit.
Chamber President-elect Arlynn Robinson of Century 21 Earll, Ambassadors Sylvia Ramos (Dilbeck Real Living), and Mark Ramos (Vista Paints), Chamber CEO Scott Hettrick, and incoming board member Wayne Williams of Professional Advisory Services represented the Chamber, with County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich’s field representative Brian Meija joining the others as the guest of the Chamber.
