SoCalREN Presents E-Contractor Training Academy: Level 2
Achieving Energy Efficiency Through Small Contractor Participation
Southern California Regional Energy Network’s (SoCalREN) Workforce Education and Training Program provides training, tools, and opportunities for participants to pursue careers and contract opportunities in energy efficiency.
SoCalREN was established by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) in 2012 and serves the areas covered by both Southern California Edison (SCE) and SoCalGas.
SoCalREN drives energy savings through the development and implementation of local energy sustainability programs that provide local governments with technical assistance, financing, and expertise to execute efficiency retrofit projects.
Program Enrollment
Contractors enrolled in the E-Contractor Training Academy will benefit from the support and guidance offered by technical assistance managers and industry experts. There is no cost to participate, but there is a time investment required. Contractors must possess a current California Contractors State License Board Contractor License.
The E-Contractor Training Academy is designed to prepare small contractors to compete and perform energy efficiency retrofit projects within SoCalREN territory.
