This month’s Personal Ambassador Ivan Lai of Cruise Planners, introduced four new Chamber members at the monthly Ambassadors Meeting, June 3, 2014: Villa Catrina Mexican Restaurant, The Kits World, RAC Development Inc. and Majestic Design Florist (photo gallery below):
- Villa Catrina Mexican Restaurant is a new family restaurant at 251 N. Santa Anita Ave. in Arcadia. Joe Jiminez, one of the owners, represented the store at the Ambassadors meeting. They serve traditional Mexican food and feature a full bar. Happy Hours are Monday – Friday, 4:00- 7:00 pm. They also offer lunch specials, children’s menu, Taco Tuesdays, and on the first Thursday of each month there is stand-up comedy club at 7:30 p.m. Banquet facilities are also available for parties and special occasions. The Arcadia Chamber will produce a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local dignitaries and officials at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, after which all are encouraged to enjoy the happy hour. An official grand opening will continue throughout that weekend.
- The Kits World is founded by three mothers whose primary goal is to reach out to parents and give them choices of product that are reasonably low-priced. Anna and Anita, two of the mothers who introduced themselves to the Ambassadors, said they started the company by offering emergency kits of various sizes but they will continue to grow to bring other types of kits. Some of the unique products that are in the emergency kits include food and water that have a five-year shelf life, hand crank radio / flashlight / cellphone charger that requires no battery and can also be charged by solar power and USB. - RAC Development, 150 N Santa Anita Ave, Suite 645, specializes in the acquisition of foreclosure property, both residential and commercial.
