Happy April! As the days grow longer and spring truly blossoms, I hope you’re all enjoying the beautiful weather and perhaps a bit of spring cleaning – both at home and for your smile!
This month, I’m excited to shine a spotlight on a service that truly transforms smiles: Invisalign. Jack’s Corner
Where Are They Now?
First off, thank you Dr. Low! In May, it’ll be four years since Temple City Dental Care ownership transitioned from senior citizen me to young, experienced whippersnapper Doc Kyle. And to think the Doc allows me to come by and go as I please? I can’t come close to sharing how much I enjoy each casual visit I get to have with patients we served for so many years. Thanks again, Doc.
And now a progress report!
Registered Dental Assistant Dani Williams, the strongest, fairest, and most level-headed leader with whom I’ve worked during 46 (gulp) years is doing just fine. In fact, Dani and I are business partners training Dental Assistants! Please look for Impact Assisting Academy, LLC (IAA). Dani was a strength of our practice for 22 years and as Team Leader, one of the key players in building a welcoming and fun culture. Dani was also a Crown Council National Dental Assistant of The Year; she is a treasure.
Dani’s daughter, Tatiana, is now a first grader and learning the three R(s), plus Mandarin. Tati recently won an award for her honesty and wants to be a scientist. I wouldn’t rule out a future in Law or Comedy.
IAA will be operating from the original or north side of the Temple City Dental Care office on twelve consecutive Saturdays. We hope to begin teaching in June.

Team Spotlight
This month, we’re shining a light on our wonderful hygienists, Alex and Nicole, and their growing families! Both welcomed new babies in these past months.
In February, Nicole and her family welcomed baby boy, Benjamin. Nicole is doing great at home as a first time mom and tells us Benjamin is getting big fast!
Then in mid-March, Alex and her family welcomed baby girl, Eevie, into the world. Everyone is happy and healthy and doing great at home. Her son, Alex, is doing great adjusting to being a big brother.
Congratulations to both, Nicole and Alex, and their families.
