LOS ANGELES, CA. September 22, 2025 — Imagine you and your canine buddy dressed in your Halloween best on a leisurely Saturday walk October 4 in the 127-acre Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden. Oh my! Barks & Boos is a day of happy dogs and relaxed owners enjoying craft beers and delicious bites. Outfit your pet in Howl-o-ween attire for our dog costume contest at 2:30pm.
Barks & Boos, presented by fera pets, is about dogs, canine companionship, and community. The event is a fundraiser that benefits Pasadena Humane and the Arboretum Foundation. Pasadena Humane will have its mobile adoption truck onsite and offer pet information. Dogs with an adventurous streak can try their paw at an agility course. Enjoy craft beers from Mt. Lowe Brewing Company and bites from food trucks. Barks & Boos is included in paid garden admission. The fee per dog is $10. Reserve tickets now. Our garden etiquette requires that dogs always remain leashed.
