It’s not enough to offer training classes for specific jobs and employment opportunities. In many cases, companies struggle to find the people capable of doing their work, even when there’s training available. Consequently, too many Los Angeles residents can’t find work because they can’t find the training or the connections they need to secure the position.
Enter the LA Basin’s Regional Planning Unit, a collaboration of seven Workforce Development boards, that works as a single entity to ensure that everyone within their individual and joint jurisdictions has access to the job training and occupations they seek.
