Ring in a safe new year with Foothill Transit! Catch free rides to and from festivities on New Year’s Eve. Your ride is on us from 4 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, to 3 a.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Happy New Year!
New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day Schedules
Bus schedules and Transit Store hours will change for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day holidays.
On Thursday, January 1, only the following lines will run according to their weekend or Sunday schedule:
178, 185, 187, 188, 190, 194, 195, 197, 269, 270, 272, 274, 280, 281, 282, 284, 285, 286, 289, 291, 480, 482, 486, 488, 492, and Silver Streak
Transit Store Schedules:
New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31
El Monte Transit Store: 7:00am to 3:00pm
West Covina Transit Store: 8:30am to 3:00pm

New Year’s Day, Thursday, January 1
All Stores are closed.

Football fans take Foothill Transit and join the number one college football team, the Indiana Hoosiers, at the Rose Bowl on January 1, 2026! Skip the hassle and the stress and enjoy the premium service to the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal.
Enjoy convenient, front-gate access when you take our Rose Bowl Shuttle. Park at the Parsons parking lot or catch Line 187 to Raymond and Walnut then walk to the Parsons parking lot and hop on the shuttle for a smooth, stress-free trip.
Thursday, January 1 – 1 p.m. Rose Bowl Game
Shuttle service runs from 10 a.m. until 90 minutes after the end of the game.
