Our first lecture in September featured James Conlon, Director of the LA Opera. Now we move into the world of Broadway and are honored to welcome Maestro Larry Blank who is one of the most prolific and sought after composers, conductors, and orchestrators in the entertainment business today. His work has been presented all over the world, including some of Broadway’s most successful musicals, Carnegie Hall, and top television and film projects.
He will talk about his amazing life in music – from conducting his first Broadway show in his early twenties to conducting most of the world’s top orchestras and many, many famous celebrities. He will also discuss the joys and challenges of a career in music with lots of advice for aspiring musicians. We are excited to present this lecture in partnership with the PCC Foundation’s HomeTown Hero’s series.
Tickets are free but reservations are required.
