Mt. Sac Enrolling Students for Online Ownership Services Technician Program w/ the Office of the Assessor

The Office of the Assessor Jeffrey Prang is excited to share a free professional development opportunity available through Mt. Sac Community College this Spring.

Mt. Sac is now enrolling students in the Ownership Services Technician Program that will last 6 weeks and fully online, designed to build expertise in property ownership and related fields.

Date: March 3, 2026 to April 14, 2025, Tuesdays & Thursdays

Live Zoom sessions: 6:00 PM to 9:15 PM

Outside Coursework: Approximately 5 hours per week

Cost: FREE

Format: Online (Live Zoom)

Students will learn key topics from individual property ownership, trusts, leases, legal entities, and other types of exclusions. In completion of the program, students may be eligible to apply for Ownership Services Technician I position at the Los Angeles County Office of the Assessor.

This course is beneficial for real estate agents/brokers, paralegals/legal assistants, property managers, estate professionals, notaries, and anyone interested in property ownership concepts.

Upon completion of the program, students may be eligible to apply for an Ownership Services Technician I position at the Los Angeles County Office of the Assessor, a valuable career pathway in public service.
