Before registration prices increase on Sunday night, February 8, we want to show you exactly what makes the Santa Anita Derby Day 5K on April 4, 2026, so special.

Because this isn’t just any 5K — it’s an experience that gives back.

The Derby Day 5K proudly supports Arcadia Parks Foundation, which focuses on developing and improving our city’s parks.

The Arcadia Parks Foundation is proud to champion vibrant outdoor green spaces, local park improvements, and recreation opportunities that bring our community together.

🏇 The Course Experience
The Derby Day 5K starts near the shops at Santa Anita, passes the historic Santa Anita Train Depot, and winds through the LA Arboretum, where nature (and the occasional peacock) steals the show. From there, the course tours the back side of the horse stables, heads through the tunnel into the infield, and finishes on the Santa Anita racetrack — complete with your moment on the big screen. Run it strong. Walk it proud. Soak it all in.
